Q:  In what states can RWISI Group write workers’ compensation insurance?

A:  We can write in almost every state, dependent upon premium size, exposure, and underwriting guidelines.

Q:  What is your modifier range?

A:  We can write mods that range from 1.0 to 3.5, and sometimes higher than that.

Q:  What is your minimum premium?

A:  Our minimum premium in most states is $50,000, although some minimums may be lower and some may be higher.  The premium depends on the state, the exposure, and underwriting guidelines.

Q:  What classes of business can RWISI Group write workers’ compensation insurance?

A:  We can write most classes of business depended upon the state and exposure.  Please see the partial list of ideal candidates to get an indication of what we can write.

Q:  Do you write hard-to-place risks?

A:  Yes.  Our specialty is placing very difficult risks.

Q:  Can you write workers’ compensation for start-ups?

A:  Yes, in many cases, we can write workers’ compensation insurance for start-up businesses.

Q:  What requirements do you have regarding premium and volume commitments with producers?

A:  We do not require minimum premium or volume levels on producers.  Our minimum premium is $50,000, although some minimums may be lower and others may be highter depending on the state, the exposure, and underwriting guidelines.

Q:  Do you use PEOs (Professional Employer Organizations) for some risks?

A:  Yes, sometimes a PEO may be the only option, other than the assigned risk pools, which are frequently difficult to deal with.  We work with the producer and their client, or the client directly, to explain the PEO programs.
